It lasts 2 to 12 months. Bachelor’s students may take part from the summer semester of their first year.

You choose the receiving company or organisation yourself. Traineeship applications therefore do not start from the partner-university directory.
Short-term traineeship
It lasts 5 to 30 days. Bachelor’s and master’s students also complete a mandatory virtual component; it is optional for doctoral students.
How to start
- 1 Find a company or organisation willing to host your traineeship.
- 2 Check whether applications are open for your academic year.
- 3 Start the application, complete your profile, and upload the required documents.
